TRANSPORTATION POLICY

1. INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF POLICY This Transportation Policy constitutes a legally binding agreement that governs the shipping, handling, and delivery of all products purchased through our platform. By placing an order, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined herein. We strive to provide accurate transit times; however, all delivery dates provided are estimates and not guaranteed unless explicitly agreed upon in writing as part of a premium service contract.
2. LAND FREIGHT (GROUND SHIPPING) Land freight services are designated for domestic deliveries and regional cross-border transport utilizing road networks.
●
Service Applicability: Standard parcels, palletized goods, and non-time-sensitive bulk orders within contiguous territories.
●
Transit Estimates: Domestic ground transit typically ranges from 3 to 7 business days. Cross-border land freight may require 7 to 15 business days, contingent upon border customs processing efficiency.
●
Remote Area Surcharges: Deliveries to geographically isolated or rural areas may incur additional surcharges or extended transit times. Customers will be notified at checkout if their address falls within a carrier-designated remote zone.
●
Carrier Handoff: Once a package is scanned by the ground carrier, transit liability transfers to the respective logistics provider. Delays resulting from carrier operational issues are outside our direct control.
3. AIR FREIGHT (EXPRESS SHIPPING) Air freight provides expedited transportation for time-critical shipments, high-value merchandise, and international express deliveries.
●
Expedited Fulfillment: Air freight orders receive priority processing and are dispatched on a same-day basis when received before the daily cut-off time.
●
Transit Estimates: Domestic air express typically requires 1 to 3 business days. International air freight generally ranges from 5 to 10 business days, exclusive of customs clearance duration.
●
Regulatory Restrictions: Shipments containing lithium batteries, aerosols, flammable liquids, or oversized cargo exceeding standard aviation dimensions may be restricted. Such items will be automatically downgraded to alternative transport methods, with any associated cost differences refunded to the Customer.
●
Weight and Dimensional Pricing: Air freight charges are calculated based on actual weight or volumetric (dimensional) weight, whichever is greater. Discrepancies between estimated and final weights may result in post-purchase freight adjustments.
4. OCEAN FREIGHT (SEA SHIPPING) Ocean freight is the primary logistics solution for heavy industrial equipment, wholesale bulk quantities, and large-volume commercial consignments where cost-efficiency supersedes speed.
●
Transit Estimates: Regional maritime routes typically require 15 to 30 days. Transoceanic voyages may extend from 30 to 60 days. Port congestion, labor strikes, and adverse weather conditions may cause significant deviations from these estimates.
●
International Commercial Terms (Incoterms): Ocean freight shipments are governed by specified Incoterms (e.g., FOB, CIF, DDP). The Customer assumes responsibility for understanding their obligations regarding port handling fees, demurrage, detention charges, and final-mile drayage.
●
Packaging and Palletization Standards: All ocean freight must comply with ISPM 15 regulations for wood packaging. Cargo must be properly palletized, shrink-wrapped, and secured to withstand prolonged maritime transit and multiple handling points. Failure to meet packaging standards may result in cargo damage, for which we assume no liability.
●
Demurrage and Detention: For port-to-port or DAP shipments, the Customer is solely responsible for timely container pickup. Any demurrage or detention fees levied by the port authority or carrier due to delayed retrieval will be billed directly to the Customer.
5. ORDER PROCESSING, HANDLING, AND CUT-OFF TIMES
●
Standard Processing Window: Orders undergo a mandatory 1 to 3 business day processing period encompassing inventory allocation, quality assurance inspection, and secure packaging.
●
Business Day Definition: Business days exclude weekends and recognized national public holidays. Orders placed after 14:00 (local time) or on non-business days will commence processing on the subsequent business day.
●
Partial Shipments: In the event of stock unavailability for specific line items, we reserve the right to issue partial shipments. Additional freight charges for split shipments will be absorbed by us, provided the total order value meets minimum thresholds.
6. CUSTOMS CLEARANCE, DUTIES, AND IMPORT TAXES For all international transactions (Air and Ocean Freight), the Customer acts as the Importer of Record.
●
Financial Liability: The Customer is exclusively responsible for all customs duties, import tariffs, value-added taxes (VAT), excise taxes, and brokerage fees imposed by the destination country's regulatory authorities. These charges are strictly separate from our product pricing and initial freight quotes.
●
Customs Delays: Packages held for routine or intensive customs inspections are exempt from our standard delivery guarantees. We cannot compensate for delays caused by governmental agencies.
●
Refusal of Delivery: If a Customer refuses a shipment due to unexpected customs fees, the original outbound freight costs will be deducted from any applicable refund, and return freight charges will be assessed.
7. RISK OF LOSS, TITLE TRANSFER, AND INSURANCE
●
Title and Risk Transfer: Risk of loss or damage and title to the goods pass to the Customer upon physical delivery to the carrier’s facility (for Ex Works/FOB terms) or upon receipt at the destination address (for DDP/DAP terms), depending on the selected Incoterm.
●
Shipping Insurance: Basic carrier liability coverage applies to all shipments. Customers purchasing high-value items are strongly advised to select comprehensive shipping insurance at checkout. Claims for uninsured lost or damaged packages will be limited to the carrier’s statutory maximum liability.
8. ADDRESS ACCURACY AND DELIVERY FAILURES Customers bear full responsibility for providing complete, accurate, and deliverable shipping addresses, including correct postal codes, contact phone numbers, and necessary access instructions. Packages returned to sender due to incorrect addresses, failure to respond to carrier delivery attempts, or refusal of delivery will incur return freight charges and restocking fees. Reshipment to a corrected address will require payment of new freight charges.
9. FORCE MAJEURE We shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in transportation performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Such events include, but are not limited to: acts of God, extreme weather phenomena, natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor strikes, government embargoes, port closures, or severe infrastructure failures. Affected Customers will be notified promptly, and alternative mitigation strategies will be pursued where feasible.
10. MODIFICATIONS TO POLICY We reserve the unilateral right to amend, update, or modify this Transportation Policy at any time without prior individual notification. Modifications become effective immediately upon publication. Continued use of our services and placement of orders following such updates constitutes binding acceptance of the revised terms.
